New investors M&G Investments and Intrepid Growth Partners joined a heavyweight existing roster — Nvidia, Siemens, Applied Materials, Atomico and General Catalyst among them. The round more than doubles the company's valuation in under a year and takes total funding to about $500 million.
What it actually does
Conventional engineering simulation — modelling how air flows over a wing, how heat moves through a chip, how a material fails under stress — is brutally slow. A single high-fidelity run can take hours or days on big compute.
PhysicsX trains AI models that learn the underlying physics and then return comparable results in seconds. That collapses the design loop: engineers can explore thousands of variations where they once managed a handful. The platform is already deployed across aerospace & defence, semiconductors, automotive, industrial machinery, energy and materials.
